Ordering that works for me and a giveaway to boot!

Today's Works-for-me Wednesday post is all about ordering online and how I've made it work for me. I frequently use Amazon.com for everything from books to electronics and stuff in between. My best friend, the Queen B, told me about the "Amazon Prime" membership that you can sign up for to have everything shipped 2 day shipping for free. The membership itself costs $79.00 a year and in just a few short months, I've already made back my membership money in shipping.

    I hope a random generator like the number 1! :) Anyway, to answer your question...no, I have not subscribed to the Amazon membership you mentioned. I didn't even know it existed. If we ordered more things from Amazon then it would totally be worth it! Maybe I'll look into it if/when our orders increase.

    I love Amazon but I have no signed up for this membership! I don't order enough for it to benefit me. But pretty soon here I'll probably need to order one! Two little girls need lots of stuff.

    By the way, I'm an avid reader! But I only read Christian books. I'm so excited to see a Christian book on the list!

    I don't subscribe to that membership but I do try and take advantage of their free shipping whenever possible. It's ok if it takes a little long if it saves us money on shipping.

    I don't have the Amazon membership, but I haven't ordered anything from Amazon. (I did sell a few books on Amazon.)

    I don't subscribe to Amazon Prime, I usually just wait until I have $25 to spend on books and I get free shipping that way.

    Thus far, I have never had to order anything so pressing, that I needed 2 day shipping (though it would be nice to get stuff faster). I usually just wait until I have a $25 order before I get anything, which isn't all that hard to accomplish. So, no, I don't have Amazon Prime yet. I would love to be entered in your giveaway.

    I've never had the need to get my things fast than the free shipping for $25 purchase will get me. Maybe it's where I live, but I generally get things within 3 or 4 days if I go that way. I never pay for shipping, but things get to me fast!

    We have the Amazon credit card and did a free Amazon Prime trial. It was fun while it lasted but I'm too cheap to renew it.

    I've only ordered off Amazon once in my life! I'm not a big online shopper. My books come from the library and I don't buy music. So, I didn't know about the offer...I will however tell my sister who frequents Amazon. Thanks for the offer, it looks like a good book.

    I am in Canada, so I just save up enough books for $39 for super saver shipping :). Sometimes we still order from .com for used books or truck manuals etc. Thanks for the contest!

    Let me tell you... I thought it was the biggest rip off being $80 a year when they offer free shipping when you spend $25. But then I realized that I spend an extra $10 on stuff I don't really need just to get free shipping. We subscribed over a year ago and just renewed a few months ago. It's totally worth it and I love it!!

    No, I don't use that, but I have a friend who's husband is in college and he's more than paid for the membership. Depends on your needs as to whether or not it's worth it.
