God is so good
I was scheduled to have a regular doctors appointment on Tuesday afternoon. We were spending the night at my parent's house due to a field trip D-Man was going on and the proximity of their house to his preschool.
About 3:50 am, I woke to make one of my many trips to the bathroom. But this trip was a bit different. It continued to pour...and pour...and pour. After about 5 minutes of pouring, I was able to make it back to the bedroom to tell Husband and the fun began.
Woke up my mom, loaded the car, drove the 45 minutes to hospital. I was checked into the hospital around 6 am and by 1:17 pm, H-Man was born. He weighed 8 lbs, 5 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.
We are still in the hospital, but will be going home this morning. H-Man is an eater and is nursing great. D-Man loves his little brother and always wants to see his feet and belly when he visits. We are so excited about getting our family of 4 back together tonight.
Thank you for all the prayers...I'll post in the next few days with updates. God is so good!

Too High Class
So D-Man and I were out doing some shopping the other day...spending a bit of time together before the craziness begins at our house with the addition of H-Man.
I told him on the way that he could pick anywhere he wanted to eat.
Now, remember, he is 4. Therefore, one would probably think that we would be eating at some fast food restaurant that had fries and a toy with the meal.
But, no no. Not my D-Man. When asked the question, "D-Man where would you like to eat?" He replied, "Red Lobster."
I am in trouble...

Just some swollen ankles and hands
That's all that is new at this point.
Blood pressure was a bit elevated and had some swelling...but the baby is still in there.
Hoping he will come out at any time.
I'm going to be eating mexican food tonight while walking and doing some jumping jacks.
Do you think it will help?

A Little Bit of Action
Hello all...
It's fall...one of my favorite times of the year. The Queen B and I often talk about how this time of year just makes us smile...just makes us happy.
Cooler temperatures, beautiful colors, no shorts...who wouldn't be happy?
And this year, I'm even more happy because this time of the year is not only bringing about changes outside, but changes inside the D-House. Baby H will be here in just a couple of weeks and we couldn't be happier.
In fact, I had some action already. I am dilated!!! (I apologize if by some random chance there happens to be a male reading this blog...I know dilation is not what you want to be reading about. But really who am I kidding, mom, I know you are the only one out there reading and I know you aren't offended by dilation talk because it just means your new grandchild gets here sooner).
Anyway, at the doctor this past Monday I was dilated to 2. He says probably 2 more weeks to go. Oh my goodness gracious...do you know what this means?
I've got to get off of here and get that bag packed and D-Man's bag packed and the house cleaned and the clothes washed and the windows done.

Someday I may Return
Life's crazy...I would know.
I am 33 weeks pregnant, I have a 4 year old son, my Husband has a job that keeps him working 100+ hours a week and we just moved.
This might explain my anxiety/panic attacks over the last few weeks. I need to tell you about them. It will be good therapy for me.
But I can't today. Boxes are calling my name. Husband needs me to find him some underwear. And I plan to cook tonight for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.
Lofty goals...I think I can handle it.
