Today's title is one that D-Man received for his 2nd birthday from our sweet neighbor, M, who lived across the street from us before we moved. It is called One Lost Sheep by Rhonda Gowler Greene and Santiago Cohen.
It tells of the parable of the one lost sheep whose shepherd cannot let even one sheep go astray. Instead of staying with the other 99 sheep, he goes out to look for the one sheep who is gone. When he finds the lost sheep, he wants to shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone how glorious it is that he has located the lost one. This parable is told in Matthew, the 12th chapter, verses 4-7.
Just like the shepherd doesn't want to see even one of his sheep go astray, God does not want to see even one of his children go astray. God wants to guide and care for ALL of his children and wants us all to have glorious fellowship with Him.
This is a wonderfully written and illustrated book that I would recommend adding to your child's collection.
